Hoosiers Move Up Leaderboard in Puerto Rico

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – After two rounds of the 2016 Lady Puerto Rico Classic, the Indiana women's golf team moved up two spots to 14th heading into Tuesday's final round.
Indiana registered a team score of 305 to give them a total score of 612 through 36 holes. They are just six shots behind Purdue and Michigan tied for 11th and three shots behind Maryland in 13th place.
A trio of Hoosiers tied for the best round of the day at 4-over par 76, with Camille Chevalier, Pear Siriko and Erin Harper doing the honors. Ana Sanjuan was one shot behind them with a 77 and Theresa-Ann Jedra rounded out the lineup with an 84.
For Chevalier, she recorded par on every hole on the back nine after shooting a 4-over par 40 on the opening nine holes. Her total score 149 is tied for 32nd on the individual leaderboard.
Pear Siriko's round of 76 featured 13 pars, including eight on the back nine, as she is three shots behind Chevalier with a score of 152 and a tie for 48th.
Erin Harper was in line for the best round of the day by an IU player, sitting at just three over going into her final hole, but a bogey gave her a 76 and a total score of 155, which is tied for 63rd.
Ana Sanjuan matched Chevalier with all pars on the back nine, but ran into some trouble at the end of the front nine on her way to a 77 and a total score of 156 and a tie for 69th.
And for Theresa-Ann Jedra, she got off to a rocky start and was not able to get back on track on her way to an 84 on Monday.
