Hoosiers Fall at No. 18 Kentucky

Lexington, Ky. – The No. 64 Indiana men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 match at No. 18 Kentucky on Friday night at the Boone Tennis Complex.
Kentucky (8-2) got wins at one and two doubles with 6-3 victories to take the doubles point and get out to a 1-0 lead in the match.
The Wildcats got another point as No. 90 Ryotaro Matsumura defeated sophomore Raheel Manji, 6-1, 7-6.
Senior No. 37 Sam Monette won the first set of his match at No. 1 singles, but dropped 6-2, 6-4 sets to fall to No. 31 William Bushamuka.
Kentucky won singles matches at three and four and secured the victory over the Hoosiers, who move to 4-6 on the season.
Freshman Antonio Cembellin earned the Hoosiers a point with a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles, for his fifth win of the season.
Up next the Hoosiers will travel to the east coast next weekend for matches against Princeton and Cornell.
