IU Hits Road to Battle Michigan, Michigan State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's tennis will hit the road this weekend for a pair of Big Ten matches against No. 9 Michigan and Michigan State. The Hoosiers and Wolverines will meet in Ann Arbor on Saturday, March 26 before IU takes on MSU in East Lansing on Sunday, March 27. Both matches will begin at Noon ET.
The Hoosiers are off to a 2-0 start in Big Ten play with wins over Iowa and Rutgers as IU is 12-4 overall on the year. Four of Indiana's next five matches will be on the road.
Michigan sits at 8-4 on the year and 1-0 in the Big Ten with a win over Michigan State last week. Three Wolverines are ranked in the latest ITA National Singles Rankings in Ronit Yurovsky (No. 14), Brienne Minor (No. 15) and Kate Fahey (No. 73). Two Michigan doubles duos are also ranked nationally.
Michigan State is 8-5 so far this year with one loss in conference play to Michigan. The Spartans are 6-2 in home matches in 2016.
