Hoosiers Host Purdue on Saturday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team will play host to in-state rival Purdue on Saturday, April 2 at 11 a.m. ET.

The 60th-ranked Hoosiers (13-5, 3-1) are off to good start in Big Ten play having one three of their first four conference matches, including a pair on the road. IU downed Michigan State in East Lansing last week and have also topped Rutgers on the road and Iowa in Bloomington. Saturday's match with Purdue will be Indiana's first home match in three weeks.

IU's Paula Gutierrez, last week's Big Ten Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, hopes to keep her strong Big Ten start going as she has three straight singles matches in the No. 2 position. Sarah McLean is 15-2 in singles play during the dual schedule this year, playing mostly at No. 3. The Hoosiers are 10-1 in home matches so far in 2016.

The Boilermakers (8-9, 1-3) are looking to end a three-match Big Ten losing skid as they will play their fourth consecutive road match in conference play.
