Hoosiers Win Fourth Straight

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Indiana men's tennis team beat No. 67 Iowa 4-0 for their fourth straight victory on Sunday.
The Hoosiers (9-14) have now won four of their last five matches in Big Ten play.
Indiana got doubles victories from the teams of Sam Monette and Daniel Bednarczyk and Chris Essick and Stefan Lugonjic to earn the doubles point to start the match.
At No. 1 singles Monette won a straight set victory, 6-3, 6-2 over Lefteris Theodorou to give the Hoosiers a 2-0 lead.
Sophomore Raheel Manji won 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot and freshman Antonio Cembellin closed out the match for Indiana with a 6-3, 6-1 win at the No. 5 spot.
Up next the Hoosiers will finish the regular season with home matches against Wisconsin on Friday April 22 at 6:00 p.m. and the final match on Sunday April 24 against Minnesota at 10:00 a.m.
