IU Swimmers Ready for U.S. Olympic Trials

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A total of 29 current and former Indiana University swimmers will head to Omaha, Neb. starting on Sunday looking to earn a trip to Rio at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials at the CenturyLink Center.
The 29 Hoosiers – 11 women and 18 men – will begin competition on Sunday, June 26, with the Trials coming to a close on Saturday, July 2.

Qualifying for Team USA
At the Trials, individuals will have to finish in the top-two in each event to qualify for Team USA and earn a trip to the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games.

Heats will begin every morning at 10:00 a.m., with evening finals beginning each evening at 6:45 p.m. Actual start times may vary between 6:51 p.m. and 7:03 p.m. due to live television.
