BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – 13 different players saw the floor as the Indiana volleyball team picked up a 3-0 win (25-18, 27-25, 25-23) over Evansville on Saturday.
Freshman setter Victoria Brisack got her first collegiate start and paced the offense with 34 assists. Redshirt freshman Kendall Beerman hit at .400 or better for the second straight match with 11 kills.
The Hoosiers (2-0) continued to pile on aces with 10, but gave Evansville 19 points on service errors.
The Hoosiers held Evansville (0-2) to a .109 hitting clip for the match while hitting .280. Indiana had 10 different players register at least one kill in the match.
Senior Jazzmine McDonald, junior Jessica Leish and freshman Deyshia Lofton added six kills apiece for the Hoosiers.
Up next Indiana will take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. With a win the Hoosiers will win the Indiana Invitational title.
