
No. 1 Indiana Travels to No. 19 Butler on Wednesday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 1 Indiana University men's soccer team will head to Indianapolis to face in-state rival and No. 19-ranked Butler on Wednesday night.
Kickoff at the Sellick Bowl is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET, with live stats available at IUHoosiers.com. Butler will be streaming the match live on their Facebook page. IUHoosiers.com will also be providing a Spanish-language broadcast of the match for free.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will head to Indianapolis to face the No. 19-ranked Butler Bulldogs on Wednesday at the Sellick Bowl at 7:00 p.m. ET.
• The Hoosiers enter Wednesday's contest with an 12-0-2 record on the season overall after beating No. 17 Ohio State, 2-0, on Sunday.
• Freshman goalkeeper Trey Muse has played well this season, posting a NCAA-best 12 shutouts while allowing just two goals with 35 saves.
• Freshman Mason Toye lead the Hoosiers with eight goals and 17 points on the season, while junior Andrew Gutman has scored five times this year.
• Junior Trevor Swartz and freshman Griffin Dorsey lead the team with five assists each.

• The Butler Bulldogs enter Wednesday's match with the Hoosiers with an overall record of 8-4 on the season.
• In the national polls, Butler is ranked No. 19 in the country by Top Drawer Soccer, No. 22 by College Soccer News and No. 23 by Soccer America. The Bulldogs are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll.
• After losing back-to-back matches for the first time this season, Butler rebounded with a 2-0 win over DePaul at the Sellick Bowl on Saturday.
• On the year, the Bulldogs have scored 17 goals on the season and have surrendered 15.
• In a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches, Butler was picked to finish third in the BIG EAST. Midfielders Lewis Suddick and Jared Timmer were named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
• In 2016, the Bulldogs won the regular season BIG EAST title, posting an overall record of 13-5-2 and a conference mark of 6-3. Butler lost in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, falling to SIUE in penalty kicks.
