Bloomington, Ind. – The Indiana volleyball team will travel to Maryland and Ohio State this weekend. The Hoosiers take on the Terrapins on Friday in College Park, Md., and Ohio State on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio.

HITTING 300
The Hoosiers have three players that are currently hitting .300 or better this season. Deyshia Lofton leads Indiana in hitting percentage at .343. Next is Hayden Huybers at .304 and Elizabeth Asdell at .300. Through 39 matches of her career, Huybers is hitting .339 with 222 kills.
SERVING UP ACES
Sophomore setter Victoria Brisack tallied five aces against Rutgers in the Hoosiers match at Oct. 20. It was the Hoosiers most aces by an individual this season. Brisack followed it up the next day with two aces against No. 1 Penn State. Brisack leads the Hoosiers with 29 aces this season and ranks fourth in the Big Ten in aces per set.
FRESHMEN IMPACT
The Indiana youth is quite evident on the 2017 roster with 11 freshmen and sophomores. Freshman Kamryn Malloy has tallied double-digit digs in four of her last six matches. Malloy has 110 kills for the season in 41 sets played. Freshman Nora Meehan has stepped into the starting libero role recently. Meehan had 14 digs in the Hoosiers win against Rutgers. Freshman Bayli Lebo has played 77 of the Hoosiers 80 sets this season. Lebo is second on the team in aces with 22 and has recorded 118 digs. Lebo ranks fourth among Big Ten freshmen in aces per set this season.
LOFTON LEADS THE BIG TEN
Sophomore Deyshia Lofton leads the Big Ten in solo blocks with 18 and is 11th in the conference in total blocks per set. Lofton also ranks 11th in the conference in hitting percentage at .343. Lofton is third on the team with 178 kills and leads the team in blocks with 84.
BACK AT HOME
The Hoosiers will be back at home on Nov. 10, 11 for matches against Wisconsin and Minnesota at University Gym.
