Setting The Scene
•Indiana (5-6, 2-6 B1G East) closes out the 2017 regular season at Purdue (5-6, 3-5 B1G West) on Saturday, Nov. 25. Kickoff is set for noon EST at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Ind., on ESPN2.
•The longtime rivals battle for the Old Oaken Bucket, the trophy awarded to the winner of the annual game.
•Saturday's meeting marks the 93nd Bucket game and the 120th overall meeting.
•IU has earned four consecutive Bucket victories for the first time since winning four straight from 1944-47.
The Coaches
•Tom Allen made his debut as Indiana head coach at the 2016 Foster Farms Bowl. He was named IU's 29th head coach on Dec. 1, 2016. The New Castle, Ind., native joined the Hoosiers as associate head coach/defense on Jan. 15, 2016. A 2016 Broyles Award nominee, Allen engineered one of the top defensive turnarounds in the country, as Indiana improved substantially in every major statistical category. (full bio on page 18)
•Jeff Brohm is in his first season as Purdue head coach. Brohm served as Western Kentucky head coach (2014-16) and carries an overall record of 35-16 (.686).

•With its 41-0 victory over Rutgers last weekend, Indiana posted its first Big Ten shutout since Oct. 30, 1993, a 10-0 win over No. 22 Michigan State.
•The Hoosiers recorded their second shutout of 2017 (Charleston Southern, 27-0). The last time they blanked two opponents in one season came back in 1993 (No. 22 Michigan State, at Northwestern, Toledo).
•IU's 41-point victory is its largest margin over a conference opponent since a 42-0 win at Northwestern on Oct. 6, 1990, and its fourth-largest conference margin of all-time.
•Indiana has surrendered 14 points over the last two weeks, the fewest in back-to-back league games since it allowed zero at Northwestern (Oct. 23) and against No. 22 Michigan State (Oct. 30) in 1993.
•The Hoosiers finished with a season-high 503 yards, including a Big Ten-high 267 on the ground - their most since 414 yards vs. Maryland on Oct. 29, 2016.
•Running back Morgan Ellison (149 yards, 2 TDs) earned his second Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor.
•IU is the only program in the country to face three top five opponents and one of three (West Virginia, Arkansas) to meet five ranked foes this season.
•Indiana has taken on three top five opponents for the second time (1961) in school history.
