
No. 1 Indiana Faces Ohio State in Big Ten Tournament Semifinals

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will play the Ohio State Buckeyes in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Friday, Nov. 10 at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind.
Kickoff for the semifinal match is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast live nationally on the Big Ten Network and links for a live stream and live stats can be found at IUHoosiers.com.
SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 1-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will face the Ohio State Buckeyes in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Friday afternoon at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind.
• Indiana earned the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament after finishing 5-0-3 in conference play, tied with Michigan State and just one point behind Michigan (6-1-1).

SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES
• The Ohio State Buckeyes finished the regular season with an overall record of 7-9-1 on the year and earned the No. 6 seed in the Big Ten Tournament after posting a mark of 3-5-0 in league play.
• After dropping eight-in-a-row, the Buckeyes upset the No. 3-seeded Michigan State Spartans in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals, 2-1, on Sunday.
• Ohio State is 1-4 against ranked opponents this season, with the team's win coming last Sunday vs. MSU.

• Redshirt junior Cory Thomas scored a golden goal in overtime in the 97th minute to send IU to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.
• Indiana's 34 shots in the match were a season-high and the most for the team since taking 36 in a 2-0 victory over IUPUI on Sept. 20, 2016.
• Freshman Mason Toye took 11 shots for IU on Monday, setting a school Big Ten Tournament record. His 11 shots are tied for the second-most in school history overall, one behind Will Bruin's mark of 12 set in 2010.
