Princeton Up Next For 5-0 Hoosiers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's tennis team will host the Princeton Tigers (0-1) in a dual match on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the IU Tennis Center.
The Tigers are coming off a loss to the No. 18 ranked Michigan Wolverines on Feb. 2.
After improving to 5-0 for the first time in 14 years, the Hoosiers have gone back to work on what lies ahead.
"It's always nice to start the way that we did. I think the work ethic is very good, they're really motivated," Indiana head coach Jeremy Wurtzman said. "I think the guys have been focused on getting better each and every day."
The Hoosiers and Tigers are familiar with each other as they have played the past two years, one match in San Diego, the other at Princeton. The Tigers return all of their players in last season's lineup vs. IU.
The difference in this weekend's matchup is the Hoosiers get to play in front of their home fans, where they are 3-0 this season.
"We're going to have our hands full, but we like being at home and hopefully we get a lot of fans out there," Wurtzman said.
Princeton has an ITA-ranked singles player in No. 109 Alex Day and a ranked doubles team with No. 16 Day and Luke Gamble.
"Playing Princeton this weekend, it's going to be a tougher match than a lot of the ones we have played this season," Wurtzman said.
