SAN DIEGO – The Indiana men's tennis team fell to the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 4-3 on Thursday at the La Jolla Tennis Club.

Behind a 7-6 (7-5) win by sophomore Antonio Cembellin and senior Stefan Lugonjic over the No. 33 pair and a 6-2 win at the three spot by junior Keivon Tabrizi and sophomore Afonso Salgado, the Hoosiers (9-6) won the doubles point.

The Red Raiders responded with two singles wins to push ahead 2-1 in the match. Sophomore Oliver Sec tied the match with a 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) win at the five spot. Sec picked up his fourth win of the dual season. Texas Tech responded with two wins of their own, at the one and four spot to clinch the victory.

Up next, IU will host the Northwestern Wildcats and Detroit University Titans on Sunday, March 26.
