Hoosiers Open Big Ten Play at Iowa

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana women's tennis team will play its first conference match of the season on Saturday March 11 at 11:00 a.m. ET at Iowa.
The Schedule
Indiana (9-5) vs. Iowa (10-1)
Saturday March 11 at 11AM ET

"We have played a solid non-conference schedule to get us ready for Big Ten play. We are excited about the opportunity to go to Iowa and start the Big Ten race. We have faced many challenging opponents this season and we are ready for a tough conference slate."
Four Straight
The Hoosiers come into the match having won each of their last four matches. Last weekend Indiana picked up wins over West Virginia and Southern Illinois. The week before the Hoosiers beat DePaul and IUPUI.
About the Hawkeyes
Iowa comes in with an overall record of 10-1. The Hawkeyes are a perfect 6-0 at home. Iowa's only loss came on March 4 in a 5-2 loss against then No. 42 Maryland. The Hawkeyes and Hoosiers have a common non-conference opponent in Western Michigan. Indiana beat Western Michigan 7-0 in their first dual match of the season. Iowa played the Broncos on February 11 and came away with a 4-3 victory.

Looking Ahead
The Hoosiers travel to Las Vegas next week for a spring break training trip and a match against Rutgers. The Hoosiers are back at home on March 25 and 26 for matches against Michigan and Michigan State.
