• Indiana opens up a six-game homestand this weekend with a Big Ten matchup against the No. 15 Maryland Terrapins.
• Since the start of the 2008 season, Indiana leads the Big Ten in wins (332) and conference wins (143). The Hoosiers have made four NCAA Regionals over that span, the most out of any current Big Ten team.
• Ranking first in the Big Ten with 45 long balls, Indiana has 10 different players that have recorded at least one home run this year. Additionally, IU leads the Big Ten in home runs for conference games only with 24. Matt Lloyd, who leads the league with seven in conference games only, is one of three IU players that are in the top two in that category, the only team in the league to accomplish that feat.
• The Hoosiers are the only team in the conference to have three players rank in the top six in home runs overall (Dedelow - 9, T-4th, Lloyd - 9, T-4th, Miller - 8, T-6th).
• Indiana has posted a .979 fielding percentage through its first 40 games this season, ranking third in the Big Ten and 22nd nationally. The .979 mark is currently on pace for a school record.
• Sophomore Matt Lloyd is tied for fourth in the Big Ten in home runs (9) and tied for 10th in saves (4). In league games only, he is first in home runs (7), total bases and hits (24), second in slugging percentage (.864), tied for second in RBI (18), third in saves (3), tied for third in doubles (6), sixth in batting average (.407), seventh in on base percentage (.470), and tied for 11th in runs (12).
• Senior outfielder Craig Dedelow is tied for fourth in the Big Ten in home runs (9) and tied for eighth in total bases (77). In conference games only, he is tied for eighth in RBI (12).
• Sophomore Luke Miller is tied for sixth in the Big Ten in home runs (8), tied for seventh in runs (33), tied for eighth in total bases (77) and tied for 13th in slugging percentage (.503). In league games only, he is tied for second in runs (16) and home runs (4), tied for third in doubles (6) and total bases (39), tied for fourth in hits (21) and tied for sixth in RBI (14).
• Sophomore Jonathan Stiever, currently ranks fourth in the Big Ten and fourth nationally in strikeout-to-walk ratio (10.67). Stiever has surrendered just three walks in 40 innings this season.
• Freshman shortstop Jeremy Houston has made just three errors on the season, with two of them coming in the first two games. In his last 26 games, Houston has just one error in 112 chances.
