
Hoosier Women Finish Second, Men In Third At Coast-to-Coast Battle In Beantown

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Indiana Women's Cross Country team placed second and the men turned in a third place finish at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown hosted by Boston College.
The women's team was paced by three top-12 finishes, led by redshirt junior Katherine Receveur who finished second overall in the women's 5K with a time of 17:03. Junior Maggie Allen was the second IU runner to cross, finishing seventh (17:23). Redshirt junior Brenna Calder came in 12th overall at 17:31. Junior Haley Harris, sophomore Lexa Barrott, redshirt sophomore Kelsey Harris and redshirt freshman Stacy Morozov closed out the IU field.
The men's team finished third overall behind sophomore Ben Veatch, taking sixth with an 8K time of 24:22. Redshirt sophomore Kyle Mau was the second IU runner to cross, finishing 10th overall with the time of 24:32. Redshirt junior Kyle Burks, redshirt junior Joe Murphy, redshirt freshman Cooper Williams and redshirt sophomore Bryce Millar finished out the scoring for the Hoosiers.
Indiana will be back in action next week home for the Sam Bell Invitational hosted on the IU Championship Cross Country Course.
