Hoosiers Fall at Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Indiana men's tennis team lost its first road match of the season against Memphis, 5-2, on Saturday at the Racquet Club of Memphis.
Memphis won doubles matches at No. 2 and No. 3 to earn the doubles point and go up 1-0 in the match. The No. 1 doubles match with Raheel Manji and Keivon Tabrizi was unfinished with the Hoosiers up 5-3.
Tabrizi (6-1, 7-5) and Zac Brodney (6-4, 7-5) won their singles matches, but despite winning first sets at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, Memphis won those matches to take a 3-2 lead on the Hoosiers.
Memphis won at No. 1 and No. 2 singles to finish the match and capture the 5-2 victory.
Up next the Hoosiers will travel to Los Angeles, Calif, where they will take on USC on Jan. 27 and UCSB or SMU on Jan. 28 in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.
