CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Indiana Women's Soccer fell to Illinois Sunday on the road in double overtime, 1-0, as the Fighting Illini scored the golden goal in the 107th minute.
KEY MOMENTS
• The Fighting Illini's Hope Breslin found the game-winner for Illinois in the 107th minute after a loose ball skipped across the box and Breslin sent it inside the left post.
• Illinois' best look in regulation came in the 65th minute as a shot by Kelly Maday hit off the crossbar.
• One of Indiana's best attempts came off the foot of junior Chandra Davidson in the 94th minute. Davidson got free to the left and fired the ball from 16 yards out, but it stayed just high to keep the Hoosiers off the scoreboard.
NOTABLES
• The Hoosiers fall to 7-7-2 (3-6-0 Big Ten), while Illinois improves to 10-6 (5-4 Big Ten).
• Sunday's game marks just the third time this season IU has been shut out.
• Indiana out-shot the Fighting Illini, 16-14, with eight Hoosier shots being on-target.
• Senior Abby Allen had a team-high five shots, with three being on-goal. Redshirt senior Mykayla Brown put up four shots, with two being on-frame.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Bethany Kopel had five saves in the game.

I thought it was back and forth and we put up 50 percent of our shots on-goal, but we weren't able to finish. Unfortunately, it bit us at the end and they buried a loose ball in the box."
