No. 2 Hoosiers Head to Rutgers on Friday

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 2-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will head east to Piscataway, N.J. to face Big Ten rival Rutgers on Friday night at Yurcak Field.

The match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. ET start and will be streamed live on BTN Plus. Live stats for the match can be found at IUHoosiers.com.

SETTING THE SCENE
• The Hoosiers enter the match coming off a 3-0 win over Butler on Tuesday night. Justin Rennicks, Timmy Mehl and Spencer Glass all scored goals for the Hoosiers in the victory.
• The Hoosiers are unbeaten in the team's last 33 matches against Big Ten opponents, posting a record of 20-0-13. Indiana's last loss to a league foe was at Ohio State on Oct. 10, 2015.
• Andrew Gutman leads the Hoosiers with eight goals, while Trevor Swartz has recorded a Big Ten-best 10 assists on the season.

• Andrew Gutman scored two goal, including the match-winner with just 18 seconds left in regulation, to lead IU over Maryland on Oct. 10.
• Gutman's winner with 18 seconds left is the latest match-winner for the Hoosiers in regulation since Will Bruin's goal with 11 seconds remaining in a 3-2 win at Penn State on Sept. 24, 2010.
• IU's win over Maryland was the team's first since 2004.
