BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana volleyball team will take on No. 4 Penn State and Rutgers on the road this week.

Notes
• The Hoosiers are 13-8 on the season and 4-6 in Big Ten matches.
• This will be the second trip to State College for Indiana this season. In non-conference play the Hoosiers competed in the Penn State Invitational, with matches against Texas A&M and Temple.
• Indiana will take on Penn State for the first time this season and Rutgers for the second time. Indiana won 3-0 against Rutgers on Oct. 13.
• Indiana head coach Steve Aird played at Penn State and served on the Penn State women's volleyball staff. In all Aird played and coached in six final fours, including being part of two national championship teams on the Penn State staff.
• Freshman Breana Edwards leads the Hoosiers in kills with 230 on the season. Edwards has led the Hoosiers in kills in 10 matches this season and is also tied for the team lead in solo blocks with 18.
• Junior Victoria Brisack recorded her 2,000th career assist in the Hoosiers win against Ohio State. Brisack became the 10th player in school history to accomplish that milestone.
• Deyshia Lofton hit .600 with nine kills in the Hoosiers win against Ohio State. Lofton is hitting .347 in Big Ten matches and leads Indiana in blocks with 93.
• Sophomore Kamryn Malloy had a season-high 10 kills in the Indiana win against Rutgers in Bloomington.
Next Home Match
The Hoosiers will host Michigan on Halloween, Oct. 31 at 7:00 p.m. at University Gym. All fans are encouraged to show up in costume and will get a discount on tickets for doing so. We will also be handing out bags of candy to get an early start on trick-or-treating.
