- IU leads the all-time series with Oakland, 3-0. The two teams last met on Dec. 17, 2016 in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in an 84-59 win for the Hoosiers.
- Indiana opened up the 2018-19 season with a 68-66 win over Milwaukee on Wednesday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
- They were led by redshirt juniors Brenna Wise (17 points, eight rebounds) and Ali Patberg (16 points, eight rebounds, three assists).
- The duo was crucial in helping Indiana seal the win over the Panthers, as Patberg's pass to Wise on the baseline with 1:08 to go gave IU its lead back for good.
