TEAM
• Today marked the 94th Bucket game and the 121st overall meeting between the two programs.
• Indiana recognized 24 seniors on Senior Day.
• Senior safety Jonathan Crawford and senior long snapper Dan Godsil became the first Hoosiers and the 12th and 13th Big Ten players to start 50 career games.
• Crawford and Godsil, along with fifth-year senior left guard Wes Martin (50), join former safety Tony Fields (50 from 2014-17) as the only Hoosiers to appear in 50 career games.
• Defensive back Noah Pierre (special teams) became the 17th true freshman to see the field in 2018.
• IU won the coin toss and deferred to the second half. It marked the sixth time it has won the toss this year, deferring each time.
• Crawford, fifth-year senior offensive lineman Wes Martin, senior defensive lineman Jacob Robinson and fifth-year senior wide receiver Luke Timian served as today's captains for the 12th time in as many games this season.
• Matt Stauder (Indiana) and Tyler Trent (Purdue) served as honorary captains.
OFFENSE
• True freshman running back Stevie Scott finished with 104 yards on 20 carries (5.2 average). His six 100-yard games are an Indiana freshman record and good for a share of fifth overall on the IU single-season list.
• Scott recorded his 10th rushing touchdown in the second quarter and his 11th overall. In addition to having the most rushing TDs amongst true freshmen, Scott is tied with Antwaan Randle El (1998) and Alex Smith (1994), both redshirt freshmen, for the most rushing scores amongst all freshmen all-time at Indiana.
• He finished the season with 1,137 yards on the ground, good for 14th-most all-time at IU.
• Luke Timian moved into a tie for ninth place on the Hoosiers career receptions list with 135. The fifth-year senior finished the game with five receptions for 37 yards.
• Redshirt junior wide receiver Donavan Hale recorded a career-high 10 receptions for 81 yards. Hale became the second IU player to reach double digits in 2018 (Whop Philyor, 13 vs. Michigan State).
• Redshirt junior Nick Westbrook brought in eight receptions for 125 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter. For his career, he has 102 receptions for 1,654 yards, the 19th player in program history to reach 100 catches and 1,500 yards.
• Westbrook recorded two 100-yarders this year and has five in his career. The 125 yards are the fourth-highest total of his career.
• Redshirt sophomore quarterback Peyton Ramsey's 23-yard rushing TD was his fifth rushing score this season and the seventh of his career.
• Redshirt sophomore Peyton Ramsey finished the game with 36-of-51 for 345 yards and a 40-yard touchdown. He set career marks in yardage, completions (4th in IU history) and attempts (T-10th in IU history), and posted his second 300-yard game of the season and the third of his career.
• Ramsey added 37 yards on the ground, including a 23-yard score, his fifth rushing TD of 2018 and the seventh of his career. His 382 total yards also marked a career-high.
• The Cincinnati, Ohio, native owns six career games (4 in 2018) with a passing and rushing score.
DEFENSE
• The Hoosiers recorded season-highs in sacks (5) and tackles for loss (11). It is the most sacks in a game since recording seven at Illinois last season (11/11) and the most TFLs since recording 11 at Penn State last season (9/30).
• Fifth-year senior defensive tackle Mike Barwick Jr. recorded his first career interception in the second quarter.
• Indiana had 26 takeaways in 2018 and has recorded at least one in 18 straight games, good for the second-longest streak in the nation.
• IU recorded an INT in 11 games this year, including 10 straight to close out the campaign. The Hoosiers finished with 13 picks overall, with Barwick becoming the 11th different player to record one.
• Redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Jerome Johnson recorded a career-high 1.5 sacks. He finished with a career-high 2.5 TFLs while adding five tackles (4 solo).
• Fifth-year senior defensive end Nile Sykes recorded his third sack of the year and the eighth of his career.
• Redshirt junior defensive end Gavin Everett recorded a half-sack, knocked down a pass and added three tackles (2 solo).
• Sophomore defensive end Michael Ziemba recorded the first sack of his career in the first quarter, forcing a fourth down.
• Redshirt junior defensive tackle Brandon Wilson recorded the first sack of his career in the fourth quarter.
• Redshirt junior cornerback Andre Brown Jr. tallied a career-best six solo tackles, which shared team-high honors with senior safety Jonathan Crawford.
• Brown matched a career-high with two pass breakups and delivered one stop for loss. Crawford tacked on a half-TFL and one PBU.
SPECIAL TEAMS
• Redshirt junior Haydon Whitehead knocked three punts inside the 20, giving him 17 on the year, including one punt downed at the four. He had six punts inside the 10 and five inside the five overall.
• Whitehead did not allow a Purdue punt return.
