Illinois wrapped up its non-conference slate in a loss to Missouri on Dec. 21 to move to 7-1 in State Farm Center this season. They are led by senior forward Alex Wittinger's 17.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest. Junior guard Brandi Beasley adds 10.1 points per outing and a team-high 6.0 assist per game. As a team, the Illini are averaging 75.9 points per game while leading the league with 5.5 blocks per game.

NOTES
- Indiana wrapped up non-conference play by going 2-1 at the Puerto Rico Classic Dec. 19-21. The Hoosiers picked up wins over Loyola Marymount and South Dakota.
- The 11-1 non-conference mark is the best start for the Hoosiers under fifth year head coach Teri Moren and best since 2013-14.
- IU is starting Big Ten play on the road for the third time in four seasons. In league openers, the Hoosiers hold a 15-21 overall record.
- Redshirt junior Ali Patberg continues to lead the Hoosiers in scoring with 17.7 points per game. She is currently in the midst of an eight-game double figure scoring streak which includes two back-to-back 20-plus point scoring games with 21 points against Grambling State and 25 versus South Dakota. She is also leading the team with 4.9 assists per ballgame.
- On the glass, redshirt junior forward Brenna Wise paces Indiana with 7.2 boards per contest. In addition, Wise is shooting 51 percent from the floor, 47.5 percent from the 3-point line and a Big Ten leading 90.9 percent from the free throw line.
- For the fourth-straight week, Indiana is receiving votes in both the AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Polls.
