Murphy, Calder and Kuhn Competed In Day Two Of The Iowa State Classic

AMES, Iowa – On day two of the Iowa State Classic the Hoosiers set one new indoor personal record and had two season best performances.

In the men's mile redshirt junior Joe Murphy set a new indoor personal record when he took fourth place with the time of 4:01.64. Murphy's previous personal record was 4:02.01, which he set at Meyo Invitational last February.

Senior Brenna Calder ran a season best time when she finished fourth in the women's mile with the time of 4:41.53. In the men's 800m, senior Daniel Kuhn also ran a season best when he took third with the time of 1:47.89.

The Hoosiers will travel to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Alex Wilson Invitational next Saturday, February 17.
