Hoosiers Travel To The Alex Wilson Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University track and field will send a small group of athletes to the University of Notre Dame to compete in the Alex Wilson Invitational on Saturday, February 17 at the Loftus Sports Center.
The meet is scheduled to start at 11:00 am EST with the women's weight throw and the women's 60m hurdle trials.
In the field redshirt senior Andrew Miller will start the Hoosiers off in the men's weight throw at 11:00 am EST. Miller is currently ranked No. 14 in the NCAA from his mark of 21.73m (71'3.5") at the Indiana University Relays.
On the women's side sophomore Khayla Dawson and freshman Maddie Pollard will compete in the women's shot put. Pollard is coming off of setting a new indoor personal record last weekend with the mark of 15.50m (50'10.25"). Redshirt junior Ashley Hash will close out the field for the Hoosiers in the women's high jump.
On the track the men's and women's distance medley relay (DMR) will be the main event of the evening. The women's relay will begin at 11:45 am EST and the men's relay will follow at 12:00 pm EST.
Redshirt freshman Teddy Browning will rabbit for the DMR team consisting of redshirt junior Joe Murphy, freshman Zubin Muncherji, senior Daniel Kuhn and redshirt sophomore Kyle Mau. The men's DMR team currently has the fastest time in the NCAA from their performance at the Power 5 Invitational (9:31.64).
The women's DMR team consisting of senior Brenna Calder, freshman Natalie Price, junior Kelsey Harris and redshirt junior Katherine Receveur are currently have the fourth fastest time in the NCAA of 11:06.18.
Junior Haley Harris will compete in the women's mile at 1:10 pm EST and redshirt senior Jordan Huntoon will close out the track for the Hoosiers in the men's 800m at 2:05 pm EST.
