PREVIEW: IU Closes Out Home Stand with Marquette and Drake

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's tennis team (7-5) host another doubleheader as they take on the Marquette Golden Eagles and Drake Bulldogs on Friday inside the IU Tennis Center.

Prior to the match against Drake, free pizza will be served in the IU Tennis Center.
About the Golden Eagles
The Hoosiers will be the third Big Ten team Marquette faces this season, losing their previous two to Iowa and Wisconsin. Those losses are the only ones suffered by Marquette as they come into Bloomington at 7-2. All seven wins have come at home.
The last time IU and Marquette played each other was on Jan. 30, 2016, a 4-0 Hoosiers win.
About the Bulldogs
Last weekend, Drake snapped a seven-match win streak and are now 10-6 overall and 1-2 on the road. Three of those six losses have come against ranked teams (No. 3 UNC, No. 20 South Carolina, No. 41 Minnesota).
Two years ago, Indiana faced the Bulldogs, No. 35 at the time, in the second match of the season. The Hoosiers fell 4-2.

Looking Ahead
IU goes back on the road for the next two matches with the first being March 11 at Northwestern. On a spring break trip, the Hoosiers head to Orlando to play UCF on March 16.
