Seven Hoosiers Travel to the Stanford Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – A group of seven distance runners will travel to the Stanford, Calif. this weekend to compete in the Stanford Invitational on Friday, March 30.
Joe Murphy will start the Hoosiers off in his season debut in the 3,000m steeplechase at 9:12 pm EST. Murphy is coming off being named the men's Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week after he set a personal record of 3:44.24 in the 1,500m at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge.
The men's 5,000m will feature Ben Veatch, Kyle Mau and Bryce Millar in their first outdoor meet of the season. Veatch will run in the invitational section at 11:51 pm EST and Mau and Millar will run in the section section.
The women's 5,000m will be the season opener for Katherine Receveur, Maggie Allen and Brenna Calder. Receveur and Allen will run in the invitational section at 11:32 pm EST and Calder will run in the second section.
