Hoosiers Off to Fast Start at Jim Green Invitational

Lexington, Ky.— Indiana Track & Field wrapped up day one at Jim Green Invitational hosted by the University of Kentucky.
Sophomore Jyles Etienne placed second in the high jump with a height of 2.15m (7' .5"). On the women's side, Hope Purcell finished fourth with a height of 1.71m (5' 7.75m). Taylor Pennington also competed in the high jump and finished with a height of 1.61m (5' 3.15").
The men's and women's weight throw were cancelled during the fourth flight of men's competition due to a broken cage.
Action will resume on Satureday Jan. 12 at 11 a.m.. Long jump, shot put, and pole vault will kick off day two. The first track event will be the 60m hurdles beginning at 12 p.m.
