- The Hoosiers are coming off a 75-69 loss to Northwestern on Wednesday night. Four players scored in double figures behind redshirt junior guard Ali Patberg's 22 points and 14 points from redshirt junior forward Brenna Wise.
- Coming in to Sunday's game, the Hoosiers are tied for second place overall in the Big Ten with a 4-2 record with Maryland, Iowa and Purdue.
- Redshirt junior guard Ali Patberg continues to lead a trio of Hoosiers averaging double figures with 17.6 points per game. Redshirt junior forward Brenna Wise (13.5 ppg., 7.3 rpg.) and sophomore guard Jaelynn Penn (12.6 ppg.) both add double figures as well.
- IU continues to shoot at a high clip from the free throw line with a league-best 76.8 percent. Wise leads the Big Ten with her 92.6 percent performance from the line while Patberg also adds 82.6 percent on the season. They rank 14th in the nation in field goal percentage, third in free throws made (298) and ninth in free throw attempts (388)
- IU has won the last three-straight and four of the last five in the series with the Boilermakers, last meeting in a 73-51 win in the third round of the 2018 WNIT. Indiana has also held the Barn Burner trophy for the last two seasons, but the trophy will not be up for grabs this time around. The Barn Burner game will take place on March 3 when the Boilermakers visit Bloomington.
