Box Score Hoosiers Get Shutout By #2 Maryland

College Park, Md.— Indiana Field Hockey struggled to get the offense going on the road on Sunday when they faced the second ranked Maryland Terrapins. The Hoosiers fell 6-0. Redshirt-sophomore Shelby Queery had a career-high 10 saves in the game and sophomore Hailey Couch took the team lead with 28 shots on the season.

KEY MOMENTS

Maryland took the early lead in the 6^th minute on a goal by sophomore Linda Cobano on an assist from senior Jen Bleakney.
Sophomore Bibi Donraadt added to the Maryland lead in the 13^th minute on an assist by redshirt-sophomore Mayv Clune.
Clune gave the Terrapins a three goal lead in the 24^th minute off of their third penalty corner.
Cobano scored her second goal in the 37^th minute and senior Lizzy Dessoye scored again on a rebounded penalty corner in the 39^th minute for Maryland.
Indiana took their first penalty corner of the game in the 47^th minute by senior Sheridan Weiss.
Clune scored her second goal of the game in the 51^st minute.

NOTABLES

With the loss, Indiana falls to 4-9 on the season and 1-5 in the Big Ten.
Queery had five saves in the first half and a career high of 10 for the game.
Couch led the Hoosiers with five shots in the game and now has a team high 28 for the season.
