MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Indiana Field Hockey returned to the win column on Friday afternoon with a 3-2 win over Central Michigan. Jessica Morford, Hailey Couch, and Savannah Bucher notched goals for the Hoosiers.

KEY MOMENTS
• Central Michigan received the first edge of the match as they made the score 1-0 at the 13:19 mark of the first quarter. The Hoosiers saw some chances in the frame from Ciara Girouard and Maddie Boehm but couldn't capitalize on the opportunities.
• It was all Indiana in the second quarter as Jessica Morford received a feed to tie the game at 1-1 at the 8:33 mark. Mary Kate Kesler fired off a shot in the closing minute of the quarter but it was saved by the Chippewa's goalkeeper. The Hoosiers and Central Michigan would go into the halftime break tied, 1-1.
• Sophomore Hailey Couch put Indiana ahead 2-1 in the third quarter as the Hoosiers would take the lead for good.
• Indiana added to their lead in the fourth quarter as sophomore Maddie Boehm scored her first goal of the season to put the Hoosiers up 3-1. The Chippewa's cut into that lead as they scored a goal in the 10^th minute of the quarter to make it a one goal game. Shelby Querry came up with a huge save in the final minutes of regulation to give Indiana a 3-2 victory.

NOTABLES
• Indiana is now 5-11 overall and 1-6 in the Big Ten.
• Savannah Bucher, Hailey Couch, and Jessica Morford all recorded goals vs. Central Michigan. This is the first time since the Saint Louis game on Sept. 13 that the Hoosiers have had three different goal scorers.
• Hailey Couch led the Indiana offense with six shots and a goal. The Hoosiers outshot the Chippewa's 21-9.
• Indiana took 15 shots that were on goal compared to Central Michigan's four.
• Sophomore Maddie Boehm scored her first goal of the season on Friday afternoon. She also recorded two shots throughout the match.
• Shelby Querry ended the contest with two saves.
