HEAD COACH ERWIN VAN BENNEKOM
"We went from playing far below our standard to one of the best halves of the season. Honestly this had nothing to do with what we did as a tactically at half time. Full credit to the team for playing with courage and a willingness to get on the ball and play forward in the 2nd half. Because of this we were able to consistently find the free player and establish possession in Illinois half, which allowed us to win the ball back higher as well. Very happy for Jacelyn to get her first minutes and the assist to a crucial game winning goal from Avery."
UP NEXT
Indiana will return home for the first time since Sept. 22 when they hosted Nebraska. The Hoosiers will face off against Minnesota on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1p inside Armstrong Stadium.
