During the Stanford Invite weekend, goalkeeper Sarah Greeven showed her defensive dominance by grabbing a total of 24 saves across the three-game spread. Greeven put up a single-game career high of 11 saves against No. 13 UC Davis for a career total of 36.
Attacker Tina Doherty also had an accomplishing weekend on the offensive end as she collected a total of seven goals throughout the weened, three against No. 4 California and another four against No. 13 UC Davis. Doherty now leads the team in scoring with 13 goals as well as steals with a total of eight.
USC Rematch
The Hoosiers first met the Trojans this season at the UC Santa Barbara Winter Invite. Indiana gave a strong defensive effort, grabbing a team total of eight steals while goalkeeper Mary Askew collected another eight saves. In the end, the Hoosiers struggled offensively only tossing in one goal resulting in a 11-1 loss.
Indiana looks to bounce back from their last meeting and upset the undefeated USC in a rematch show down.
Conference Play
Saturday's fight against the Trojans will mark Indiana's second MPSF conference match-up and USC's first. The Hoosiers shoot to get their first conference win of the season after falling to No. 2 Stanford two weeks ago at the Stanford Invite.
Two-Game Weekend
After throwing down with the Trojans, the Hoosiers will move on to their second Top-25 match-up of the weekend facing No. 7 UC Irvine. Indiana last met Irvine back in March of 2015 when the Hoosiers fell just short of a victory over the Anteaters, losing 10-6.
Indiana looks at this weekend's game as an opportunity to improve their all-time series record with the Anteaters from 3-5 to 4-5.
