Indiana Recognizes Scholastic Achievement Honorees

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – On Tuesday at the men's basketball game Indiana University Athletics honored one student from each sport and the student athletic board, for the Scholastic Achievement Award
Since 1979, the IU Varsity Club has presented the Scholastic Achievement Awards to recognize high-achieving students who have excelled in the classroom. Award recipients have achieved the highest GPA on their respective teams.
The Jack D. Tichenor Award is given annually to IU's top male and female student-athletes that hold the highest individual cumulative GPA among the entire Department of Athletics. This year's honorees are Allison Jorden and Spencer Irick.
