Five Hoosiers Set New Personal Records on Final Day of Competition

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.— Indiana Track & Field concluded the weekend slate by competing at the Iowa State Classic and Tyson Invite. Eric Bethea, Haley Harris, Kelsey Harris, Kyle Mau, and Leah Moran all saw personal records fall on Saturday afternoon.
Iowa State Classic
Haley Harris got the Hoosiers off to fast start as she took third in ithe women's mile with a time personal records time of 4:41.50. On the men's side, Kyle Mau won the event after clocking a time of 3:57.61 to nab a PR. The redshirt junior is now the national leader and moved up to No. 3 on the all-time indoor list.
Kelsey Harris was the final Hoosier to grab a PR as she placed second in the 800m in a time of 2:05.46. Cooper Williams had a solid performance in the 800m as he snagged fifth with a time 1:49.15
Tyson Invite
Leah Moran and Eric Bethea both claimed new PR's in the triple jump on Saturday afternoon. Moran jumped to a distance of 13.02m (42' 8.75") while Bethea saw a distance of 16.38m (53' 9").
Jyles Etienne continued to have success in the men's high jump as he nabbed first after clearing a height of 2.15m (7' .5"). On the women's side, Hope Purcell cleared a height of 1.67m (5' 5.75") to place sixth.
Up next, the Hoosiers will conclude the regular indoor season at the Alex Wilson Invitational host by the University of Notre Dame. The one-day meet is set for Saturday, Feb. 16.

Leah Moran and Eric Bethea both claimed new PR's in the triple jump on Saturday afternoon. Moran jumped to a distance of 13.02m (42' 8.75") while Bethea saw a distance of 16.38m (53' 9").
Jyles Etienne continued to have success in the men's high jump as he nabbed first after clearing a height of 2.15m (7' .5"). On the women's side, Hope Purcell cleared a height of 1.67m (5' 5.75") to place sixth.
Up next, the Hoosiers will conclude the regular indoor season at the Alex Wilson Invitational host by the University of Notre Dame. The one-day meet is set for Saturday, Feb. 16.
