Murphy Wins Two Events at Stan Lyons Invite

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.— Nine runners competed unattached and while Joe Murphy picked up two first place finishes as the Hoosiers wrapped up competition at the Stan Lyon Invite hosted by Butler University.
Joe Murphy took home first in the men's open 1500m and 800m as he ran unattached. First, he ran the 1500m in a time of 3:58.79. A few moments later, the senior clocked a time of 1:55.87 to bring home gold in the open 800m.
Also, in action in the men's open 1500m was Arjun Jha (4:00.36), Keelan Grant (4:00.76), Jake Gebhardt (4:02.41), Skyler Stidam (4:03.07), Matthew Yoder (4:06.61), and Ben Miller (4:06.82) who placed 3-8, respectively.
Abi Little saw competition unattached as she placed second in the women's open 1500m with a time of 4:43.37.
