
Hoosiers Win 13 events on Final Day of ASU Invitational

Tempe, Ariz.— On the second day of the ASU Invitational Indiana Track & Field picked up 13 wins on the day as they head back to the Hoosier State.
Shaton Vaughn picked up his first win in the 400m hurdles as he dished out a winning time of 53.57. Jeyland Valentin competed for the first time this outdoor season as she was runner up with a time of 1:02.37.
Natalie Price led a group of Indiana runners in the 200m as she raced to a time of 24.11. Megan Grabowski (24.75) placed third, Jaela Gay (25.03) picked up fourth and Hope Purcell (26.08) finished seventh. The Hoosiers broke out the brooms after Brathwaite notched is second victory of the day with a time of 21.34 to seep the men's and women's 200m. Derek Grimmer also competed in the event and picked up second nabbing a time of 21.87.
The 800m featured nine Hoosiers throughout the men's and women's race. In the women's race, Kelsey Harris led all Indiana runners and placed third in a time of 2:06.85.
