MURRAY, Ky. – Indiana Women's Soccer dropped a 2-1 decision to Murray State on Friday afternoon at Cutchin Field as the Racers netted the game-winner in the 81st minute of action.
KEY MOMENTS
• Murray State jumped ahead in the 20th minute on a long-distance shot from Lilly Strader that curved inside the top left of the goal.
• Freshman Jaimie Tottleben found the equalizer in the 50th minute for the Hoosiers. First, freshman Alaina Kalin took control of a Murray State throw in and found fellow freshman Avery Lockwood, who crossed midfield and sent the ball to Tottleben, who was waiting 35 yards from goal. She then took the ball down the right side and shot from 15 yards out, threading it through the Murray State goalkeeper's hands.
• Lockwood had a good chance of her own in the 80th minute on a 1v1 opportunity before it was punched out for a corner.
• The Racers regained the lead late as Rebecca Kubin found the back of the net in the 81st minute. After back-to-back Hoosier corner kicks, Murray State attacked on the counter as Parker Greer picked up the loose ball at the top of the box and sent it down to Kubin for the score.
NOTABLES
• The goal by Tottleben was the first of her career. The freshman has started each of the first three games of the season.

"Obviously we are disappointed with the result and even more so with the way we played. All credit to Murray State and their staff as they played very well. We will have to move on and focus on what we can learn from this game."
UP NEXT
Indiana returns to the Bluegrass State next Thursday as the Hoosiers visit Louisville (3-0-0). The Hoosiers and Cardinals, who received votes in this week's United Soccer Coaches Poll, will kick at 7:30 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.
