Hoosiers Wrap Up Competition at John McNichols Invite

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.— Indiana Cross Country completed their stint at the John McNichols Invitational hosted by Indiana State. Redshirt freshmen Keelan Grant and Ana Barrott led the Hoosiers in the morning contest.
Freshman Abby Green ran unattached at the meet and placed 36th overall by crossing the finish line in a time of 17:42.5.
Grant led the Hoosier men as he crossed in a time of 25:03. 9 to finish in 28th. Dustin Horter and Ben Miller finished back-to-back in 34th and 35th, respectively. Horter clocked a time of 25:14.3 while Miller saw a time of 25:14.7. Reece Jordan picked up a 37th place finish with a time of 25:16.6. Jake Gebhardt had a strong showing as he placed 45th and crossed the finish line in a time of 25:22.4. Aaron Bennett ran in his third meet of the season as he raced to a 92nd place finish and clocked a time of 26:21.7.
Ana Barrott showed her strength as she led the Indiana women by placing 67th in a time of 18:24.6. Maddie Dalton completed the morning with a time of 19:14.7 while Mallory Mulzer clocked a time of 19:43.9. Kelly Mindak rounded out the field of Hoosiers as she crossed in a time of 20:18.9.
Up next, Indiana will travel to South Bend, Ind. to compete in the Joe Piane Invitational on the camps of Notre Dane. The meet is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4 at 1p.
