MADISON, Wis. – Indiana women's golf wrapped up play in the East-West Match Play Challenge by defeating Iowa on Tuesday, 4-1-0, to finish fifth in the event.

The participants were originally supposed to play two rounds of match play but, due to rain on Sunday, only played one.

STROKE PLAY RECAP
• In 36 holes of stroke play on Monday, Parsons tied for third place as she shot 3-under-par. Indiana also saw impressive finishes from Schmid and Miestowski in stroke play as then finished tied for 7^th after carding an even-144.

UP NEXT
• Indiana is back in action Oct. 7-8 at the Ilini Women's Invitational at Medinah. That same weekend, the Hoosiers will send a trio of individuals to the Butler Fall Invitational.
