
Eisenhut Moves Up to T5 on Day Two of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic

Rio Mar, Puerto Rico – Indiana Women's Golf continued play in the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Monday, as freshman Anni Eisenhut continued to pace the Hoosiers as she moved up to a tie for fifth place after the second round. As a team, IU improved by 11 strokes overall from yesterday's opening round.

• Eisenhut moved up five spots from yesterday's round, firing a 2-under-par 70 on Monday. She was even through the back nine and 2-under on the front, carding four total birdies on the day.
• Junior Mary Parsons also made moves on Monday, improving by two strokes from the day before to move up 11 spots. After running into some trouble on hole No. 15, her second hole of the day, she recovered to either par or birdie every remaining hole except one to shoot 1-over for the round.
• Sophomore Alexis Miestowski finished strong in her round as she carded a pair of birdies on the final three holes and improved by six strokes from the opening round.
• Freshman Valerie Clancy's best showing on Monday came on the back nine where she shot an even-36. She ended the day tied for 77th. Fellow freshman Hanna Tanaka also had her best outing on the back nine, including a birdie on No. 11.
• Senior Elisa Pierre, who is competing as an individual, collected a pair of birdies on No. 12 and No. 15 and is currently tied for 77th.
