Hoosiers Save Best for Last in Final Round of Lady Puerto Rico Classic

Rio Mar, Puerto Rico – Indiana Women's Golf wrapped up the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Tuesday, moving up three spots as a team and shooting their best overall round of the event. The Hoosiers were once again led by freshman Anni Eisenhut who earned the best finish of her young career at sixth place.

• Eisenhut fired her best round of the tournament, carding a career-best 69 on Tuesday. She birdied or parred every hole except for one and excelled on the front nine, coming at 3-under with a trio of birdies.
• Junior Mary Parsons finished the event tied for 28th after shooting a 2-over-par 74 in the final round. Parsons has finished in the top 40 of every event thus far in the 2019-20 season.
• Sophomore Alexis Miestowski ended the event in 71st after shooting a 79 on Tuesday. She did collect a birdie on hole No. 18 but ran into some trouble on the front nine.
• Freshmen Valerie Clancy and Hanna Tanaka both tied for 76th as both carded their best round of the event on Tuesday. Clancy shot a 77 while Tanaka had a 76.
• Senior Elisa Pierre, who competed as an individual, also recorded her best round of the week, shooting a 76 to finish tied for 73rd.
