Rooks, Cronin Win, Hoosiers Fall Against No. 4 Nebraska

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Liam Cronin won his sixth straight Big Ten match and Graham Rooks beat his fifth ranked opponent of the season, but the Indiana wrestling team fell 35-6 against No. 4 Nebraska on Sunday at Wilkinson Hall.

• The Hoosiers drop to 1-9 on the season and 1-8 in the Big Ten. Nebraska improves to 8-3 overall and 2-3 in Big Ten Matches.
• Graham Rooks took down No. 14 Collin Purinton in a 3-2 decision. For Rooks he has now beaten five ranked opponents this season. Rooks has won six of his last eight matches and has Big Tend dual match record of 6-3.
• Liam Cronin improved his Big Ten dual match record to 6-3 with a 4-1 decision over Edwin Thomsen.
• Cronin has outscored his opponents 31-12 over that six-match win streak.
• Graham Rooks and Liam Cronin have combined to win 12 of their last 14 matches. Over that stretch they have outscored opponents 71-36.
