Play Suspended in Round Two Due to Weather

MEDINAH, Ill. – With play suspended midway through the second round, the Indiana women's golf program is tied for 13th overall at the Illini Women's Invitational at the Medinah Country Club after completing 18 holes on Monday.

The second round was suspended due to a combination of weather in the area and darkness. The second round will resume on Tuesday morning before the third round is contested.

CHIP-INS
• Freshman Áine Donegan continues to be a force for the Hoosiers at the top of the lineup and finished with a first-round score of 70 (-2). She carded a team-best five birdies in the opening round, including a pair in her first four holes.
• Junior Valerie Clancy finished the first day with a 1-over 73 on her scorecard. She saw birdie putts fall on both No. 3 and No. 18.
• Fifth-year senior Mary Parsons and junior Hanna Tanaka each scored a 2-over 74 through the first 18 holes. Parsons tallied three birdies in five holes from No. 4 to No. 8, while Tanaka registered her lone birdie on No. 4.
• Freshman Beatriz Junqueira finished on back of Parsons and Tanaka with a 3-over 75. Her round consisted of birdies on No. 1, No. 13 and No. 16.
• Senior Maddie Dittoe completed the first day as an individual with a final tally of 75 (+3). She connected on birdie attempts on No. 8 and No. 15.
