Hoosiers Conclude Fall Slate in Medinah

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Hoosier women's golf program will wrap up the four-tournament fall schedule at the Illini Women's Invitational, a two-day event beginning on Oct. 11, in Medinah, Ill.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• The tournament will feature 54 holes over two days of competition. The first day (Oct. 11) will see the Hoosiers play 36 holes with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. ET. The final 18 holes will begin with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 12.
• The scoring will follow the standard play 5, score 4 format for each of the 15 programs in the tournament.
• The field will consist of four teams ranked inside the top-30 of the latest GolfWeek rankings, led by the No. 20-ranked Georgia Bulldogs.
PREVIOUSLY THIS SEASON
• Indiana started the season earlier this week with a 14th place finish in the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich. Freshman Áine Donegan had a strong collegiate debut, finishing in a tie for 11th place overall.
• The Hoosiers finished 10th overall in the Badger Invitational in the program's second tournament of the season. Donegan again paced the team with an 10th-place individual finish, her second top-15 outing in as many tournaments to begin her collegiate career.
• For the first time since 2019, the team secured a tournament victory at the Courtney Cole Invitational on Oct. 5 at The Pfau Course in Bloomington. Donegan earned the individual victory for the first time in her collegiate career, while junior Valerie Clancy (second) and fifth-year senior Mary Parsons (third) rounded out the podium spots in the individual ranks.
