
IU Welcomes Wisconsin for Final Conference Home Match

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – In its final Big Ten match at home, Indiana men's soccer (10-3-1, 4-2-0 B1G) will look to bolster its position for another conference regular season championship when it hosts fellow title contender Wisconsin (7-4-3, 3-2-1 B1G) Sunday (Oct. 24) on Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

SETTING THE SCENE
• Indiana men's soccer is in its best stretch of the season so far, winning seven of its last eight and recording five straight shutout victories.
• The Hoosiers won each of their last two Big Ten matchups, blanking Ohio State (3-0) and Penn State (1-0).
• Wins in each of Indiana's final two conference matches, against Wisconsin and at Maryland, would secure IU at least a share of the Big Ten regular season title.
• Junior forward Victor Bezerra is coming into form as of late, with five goals and three assists in IU's last six matches for a total of 13 points. Of those five goals, four have given Indiana a lead.
ABOUT THE BADGERS
• Wisconsin is led by 12th-year head coach John Trask. He owns an 87-94-37 record during his time with the Badgers.
• After starting Big Ten Conference play 3-0-1, the Badgers have dropped their last two matches, falling to Michigan, 1-0, and Northwestern, 2-0.
• Junior midfielder Inaki Iribarren leads Wisconsin with four goals. Senior forward Andrew Akindele owns a team-high three assists.
• Three Badgers have seen time in goal this season. Sophomore Carter Abbott leads the group with nine starts and has seen action in each of Wisconsin's last five matches.
