WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Indiana Hoosiers men's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of the schedule with an eighth-place finish (884; +20) at The Williams Cup presented by STITCH Golf® played at the Eagle Point Golf Club on Tuesday.

Top Indiana Player: Noah Gillard – 221 (75-72-74; +5)

CHIP-INS
• Junior Noah Gillard led the Hoosiers with a t-26th-place finish at 221 (75-72-74; +5). His final round of 74 (+2) included on birdie conversion.

• Fifth-year senior Ethan Shepherd knocked down a pair of birdies putts over his last four holes to finish the afternoon at a 2-over 74. Overall, he tied for 32nd at 223 (71-78-74; +7).

• Senior Mitch Davis shot a 4-over 76 with a pair of birdies during the final 18 holes. He finished t-36th overall with a three-round score of 224 (78-70-76; +8).

• Sophomore Drew Salyers played a 1-under 71 during a final round that included a pair of birdies and a team-high 15 pars. He finished the tournament in a tie for 36th place with a score of 224 (83-70-71; +8). Salyers was the lone Hoosier to play under par in at least two rounds in Wilmington.

• Sophomore Clay Merchant converted one birdie attempt in the third round to finish the tournament 57th with a score of 234 (75-80-79; +18).

With the conclusion of the fall season, the Hoosiers will be off until the first weekend of February when the team travels to Hammock Beach, Fla. to play in the Big Ten Match Play Championship at the Ocean Golf Course.
