Indiana Kickstarts Spring Slate Against Big Ten Field

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men's golf team is set to start the spring schedule with a four-round match play tournament against 10 other Big Ten Conference foes on Feb. 4-5 at the Ocean Golf Course in Hammock Beach, Fla.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Four programs in the field rank inside the top-35 of the latest GolfWeek rankings, headlined by the Purdue Boilermakers (No. 22). Northwestern (No. 28), Michigan State (No. 31) and Indiana (No. 33) round out the highest ranked teams in the field.
• The Hoosiers will officially open the bracket against the Nittany Lions.
• Indiana and Penn State will square off at 1 p.m. in the afternoon session.
• The semifinal and final matchups will be played at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, on Saturday.

TEAM NOTES
• Sophomore Drew Salyers has twice been named the Big Ten Golfer of the Week (Sept. 8 and Sept. 22) after winning his first tournament as a member of the Cream and Crimson at the Hoosier Collegiate and earned a second-straight top-5 finish at the Fighting Illini Invitational.
• The Hoosiers check in at No. 33 in the latest GolfWeek Collegiate Rankings.
