Hoosiers Celebrate Student-Athletes at Academic Excellence Dinner

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– Indiana University Athletics and Kathy and Steve Shuel hosted the Academic Excellence Dinner this week.
The event brought together a record 64 student-athletes who were honored for their academic excellence.
"These 64 students have succeeded at the very highest levels academically to earn a 4.0, and we are extremely proud of what they have accomplished in the classroom," said IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Scott Dolson. "They are very deserving of this special recognition to celebrate the hard work and dedication that goes into this type of accomplishment, which was achieved while also juggling the demands of competing at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics. Congratulations to our students as well as their families and loved ones of this remarkable achievement."
