BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana Volleyball (9-14, 3-8 Big Ten) completes its four-game home stand on Saturday, October 30 at 7 p.m. against Northwestern (9-13, 4-7 Big Ten).

Opening Serve
• The Hoosiers hosted their final midweek match this past Wednesday when they played host to No. 11 Minnesota. Indiana tumbled against the Gophers and lost the match, 3-0 (20-25, 14-25, 16-25).
• Senior outside hitter Breana Edwards led the charge against Rutgers on October 24 with a season-high 27 kills while tallying four blocks in which three were solo. She tallied the final five points including the game-winning block.
• Junior defensive specialist Paula Cerame moved up to No. 3 in the Big Ten in digs this week, tallying 374 so far this season. The junior is averaging 4.45 digs per set.
• Freshman setter Camryn Haworth is continuing to be a contender in the Big Ten as she is No. 5 in aces among the conference. Haworth has served up 30 aces in 2021.
• Junior middle blocker Kaley Rammelsberg is 10th in the Big Ten in hitting percentage, hitting .332 on 152 kills.

• Indiana holds a slight 38-36 advantage over Northwestern in the all-times series between the two programs.
• The Hoosiers and Wildcats last met in 2019 where they split the two matches. Northwestern took the first matchup 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 16-25, 22-25) while Indiana saw the 3-1 (26-24, 25-22, 21-25, 27-25) victory in the second match.

• NORTHWESTERN: Shane Davis is in his fourth as the head coach of the Northwestern Volleyball program. The Wildcats are 9-13 overall and 4-7 in the Big Ten. Junior outside hitter Temi Thomas-Ailara leads Northwestern on offense with 331 kills and a hitting percentage of .211. Thomas-Ailara is third in the Big Ten in points, recording 398.5 points. Sophomore middle blocker Leilani Dodson is the Wildcats lead blocker and has recorded 70 blocks in their 22 matches. She also has put up 185 kills. Sophomore Alexa Rousseau is their main setter with 818 assists. As a team, Northwestern is hitting .221 while their opponents are hitting .218. They have tallied 1,105 kills and have allowed their opponents to capture 1,051. The Wildcats lead the Big Ten in opponent digs, allowing only 12.20 per set.

• Indiana hosted their final midweek match this past Wednesday when Minnesota came to town. The Hoosiers stumbled against the Gophers and dropped the contest, 3-0 (20-25, 14-25, 16-25). Breana Edwards led the attack with eight kills and tallied two blocks. Mady Saris and Savannah Kjolhede both dealt aces during the match.

• Senior outside hitter Breana Edwards leads the Hoosiers in kills with 256 in 2021. She has tallied double-digit kills in two-straight matches. Edwards recorded the 1000th kill of her career in the match at Georgia Tech on Sept. 10.
• Junior middle blocker Kaley Rammelsberg is continuing to lead the Indiana attack with a hitting percentage of .332 on 152 kills. She has the second-most kills on the roster with 63.
• Graduate student setter Brooke Westbeld leads the way in setting with 434 assists. Westeld also has 99 digs and 24 kills.
• Sophomore middle blocker Savannah Kjolhede is the Hoosiers lead blocker with 68 blocks. The sophomore has put 120 kills for the Indiana attack.
• As the Hoosiers starting libero, junior Paula Cerame is getting in the groove of the Indiana attack and has recorded a team-leading 374 digs.
• In the match at Minnesota on October 17, sophomore outside hitter Morgan Geddes tallied a career-high 10 kills. She then matched that career high in the victory over Rutgers on October 24.
Clutch Time
• Senior outside hitter Breana Edwards made clutch plays when she needed to as she led the Hoosiers to victory against Rutgers on Sunday, October 24. The Rainer, Ore. native put up a season-high 27 kills, four blocks, and one assist.
• In the fifth and final set the Hoosiers were down 11-8 but Edwards kept Indiana it with a kill and a solo block. She went on to score the final three points that the Hoosiers needed to secure the win. Edwards had the game-winning solo block to complete a outstanding day at the office.
Freshmen Coming In Hot
• Freshman setter Camryn Haworth has been stellar behind the serving line, dealing an Indiana-leading 30 aces. Haworth had three in the victory over Rutgers.
• Freshman outside hitter Mady Saris is having a strong first season with the Hoosiers as she has secured 218 kills and 35 blocks. She recorded her third double-double of the season on October 24 against Rutgers with 12 kills and 12 digs.
